Whatever goal you currently have in mind, don’t doubt the power of simple (or simpler) ways to achieve it. Do not believe those who tell you that without blood, sweat and tears there is no result. This is their reality because they did not know or do not know otherwise. As I said, mindset is the beginning of everything – the belief that something is difficult will make something difficult in itself. The belief that you will fall will set you up for something to get stuck on. The belief that it must be all or nothing leaves you with nothing. Perhaps it is because of these beliefs that it is so difficult for you to start changing your lifestyle habits. Maybe that’s why you get stuck in the same mistakes every time – you push yourself until you explode. And that’s normal, few have to give it their all, and even those have planned periods of relaxation. If your goal is anything less than a fitness competition, believe me, there are more paths open to you than you think.
I entered the gym for the first time at the end of 1999. With a Nokia 3310, without Facebook, Instagram, in a plain white t-shirt and not at all sexy wide tracksuit. Today, 20 years later, in a completely different techno world, I’m still in love with weights, a healthy lifestyle, and most of all, myself. By the way, hello 🙂 And it’s not for the sake of struggle, pain, sweat and tears. But because I primarily chose what made me happy, because of the positive mindset that I built along the way and because of the pure simplicity that I accepted as the basis of everything I did, including my outlook on life. The power of small steps in achieving big results. In this sea of information, complex terms, different definitions, theories, the noise of different thinking… loving what you do and sticking to the simple foundations of a healthy life are what will keep your head above water. And not until you reach your goal, but forever.
Some of these foundations are hidden in my hundreds of blogs, but the gathering of experience never stops, and neither does the inspiration to inspire further, especially all of you who are now somewhere where I was so long ago, but as if it were yesterday….
I’ll share, and you take it or leave it, it’s ok 😉
